I spent the past week riding the Kowen Forest, both East Kowen and Sparrow Hill. Here are trail videos of 2 of the new trails expected to be in the Kowalski Classic
Romper Room - Steep, tight, technical, rocky

Stairway to Heaven - Long, steep, steep and tricky switchbacks, a TRUCK LOAD of steps some quite big. Some switchbacks with steps in them. This is going to be pandemonium in a race situation

Thx for recording and posting - a must watch for anyone entering the Kowalski. This is going to be tough 40/90Kms into the race dear me!
Quality of trail building is, of course, very high - thx to the Kowalski bros and helpers...

It's a killer of a climb, especially for a fat bastard like me. Id just climbed Rolling Thunder and Web Track, down Romper Room and then back up Sideshow. I was a shattered man by the time I got back to the summit.
But that was just the start of a 46km day in the forest. The longest MTB ride I've done and the most vert. It was a good day.
