Adjust fox fork spring rate

I've had success cutting down the spacer size in a fox float shock, resulting in more air volume and a more linear feel. Can the same be done for fox forks. I have fox float 34s, 160mm travel? I'm wanting to do the adjustments myself (ie not sending them away). Thanks

Update - found this so all sorted:
clip-on Volume Spacers
Changing volume spacers in the 34 FLOAT fork is an easy internal adjustment that allows you to change the amount of mid stroke and bottom out resistance.
If you have set your sag correctly and are using full travel (bottoming out) too easily, then you could install one or more spacers to increase bottom out resistance.
If you have set your sag correctly and are not using full travel, then you could remove one or more spacers to decrease bottom out resistance.
Installation procedure and tuning options are available online at:

This is something I've done on my Lefty Hybrid XLR on the Scalpel.

I was able to get a much better balance of travel and small bump compliance by taking out the large spacer and putting back only about 15mm worth of pucks. Upping the sag slightly from 25 to 30% front and rear also made for a much more planted ride. Previously the ride was harsh and the fork rarely used the last third of its travel, although some of that was the known issue with MY2013 Leftys using the wrong grease and having too many high speed damping shims.

Once the damper was modified to 2014 spec, experimenting with the air volume got it working nicely. No more rattling teeth Eye-wink
