Manly Dam new trail signs
Liking the new trail signs/posts around the dam and a big map at Manly Vale public school. Has anybody else noticed them?

Yeah noticed them yesterday morning. Don't think anyone's going to get lost around there now. Must be 20 signs on the way round.
Now they just need to spend some money on the track itself and fix the drainage to get rid of the swamps...
I hope there's a "don't ride in the wet" note in there somewhere
Nothing brings you back to mother nature more than about 500 giant bright orange signs! Man - they went pretty overboard, there is nothing subtle about them.
Pics anybody?
I don't ride the dam very often but keen to see what's been done.
Great to see signs for first time & out of area riders.
It's a shame there's no mention of the Bantry Bay trails.
Get out there this weekend & enjoy.
Cheers, Daisy
Agree that it will make the place easier for those unfamiliar with the track but why did they have to make them bright. I rode there today and kept thinking there was another rider but it was a sign. Something more subtle would have been nicer given it is a national park.
I updated the Manly Dam trail status and added photos there (could not work out how to add them to this post)
Why is there (correctly) 'no biking' icons on these new signs when pointing to footpaths, but no 'no walking' signs on the Wakehurst and 19th Hole sections that are bike only? Despite the original sign, so many people walk their dogs up the 19th hole section it's only a matter of time till there's an incident.
Interesting development hank
I don't mind that, as it strengthens our case for sharing waling trails in NPs.
More than likely it is an overnight though

Amen. WTF? Why so many? Council never fail in their quest to solve a problem that didn't exist...
I think someone in Risk management is scared they will loose their job with the Amalgamation of Manly & Warringah so they have prepared a very comprehensive resume.....
