If they'll be a second chance to do a practice lap after the the elite's race, as I'm not real keen to get there before 7am to race at 12pm or after, Do you have any inside info alchemist?
Cheers John.
Yes there is an hour for practice between the races. The elite racing should finish around 10:30 to 10:45.
for that info, it wasn't mentioned on the website that there was any practice after the first race.
John
was on today with me leading the series on points in the Masters category to perform well, in a field of 23 managed 5th into the first corner and going hard I soon worked my way up to 2nd place and feeling great, until I went over a drop off and bashed my pedal, which made it fall off but left the shaft still attached to the crank, unable to fix it I struggled on for the remaining 3 1/2 laps of a 4 lap race to get whatever points I could for the series. Still got 15th place which was not bad with 1 and a half pedals and my right leg got an awesome workout today, I still enjoyed the track which was fantastic a lot of effort has gone into it and it's fun all the way.
John.
What a bugger but it does looks like a very light weight set up you just need to work out a way to clip onto it.
I think you're taking this weight thing a little too far John!
Bad luck mate, good result anyway...
So I guess it's all on for the 8hr then?
or did it dissappear during the impact?
Was laying on the track and I picked it up on the 2nd lap, I pushed it on the shaft hard and it sort of clicked so I thought I was in luck but it came off again. If I had any duct tape I would have taped my foot to the shaft as the shaft didn't offer much grip to keep my foot on it. Yes I will be doing a few laps at Killi maybe on the 29er as I had to put the Anthem in for a fork service this Arvo. Oh and at least I finished the race unlike your team mate for Killi SupaGav, who had a little brake drag and had to pull out. LOL
It's all on for this weekend!
in one pic, the super light pedal, the blown fork seal and the 24hr sticker.
