Wow!! Totally sick mtb riding. I don't think I have seen any better.
Watch in order:
Steve Peat
Sam Hill
Gee Atherton
The Sam Hill soap opera continues and long may it do so!
Great riding, but this player sucks big time. It doesn't buffer properly so hit play 'til the actual rider starts, then pause 'til the blue loaded line goes across. Don't let it finish or you'll have to download it all again for a replay
Have only seen the Peat one so far, butOMG, can you believe the way Peat took that last down ramp before the line? Well, I say, 'took', but I mean, 'flew over without even touching it!'. Unreal!Poor Sam though. Doh! There's stills of his little mishap here:

had have stayed on the bike he would have beaten gee atherton by 2.5 seconds! im a pommy and support the british riders but sam hill is a f......g legend and although gee looked smoother, sam looked more on the edge and was more entertaining to watch. in my eyes its SAM, KING OF THE HILL! by the way boys, well done to all that raced at killi today. great day with great results and times. no injuries and no mechanicals. and john, a scratched shoulder is not an injury!
Woah.. thanks for this.
How is Sam Hill so fast? I can't even see what he's doing, simply incredible, he just gets faster and faster.
However equally as amazing is the commentary. Hilarious
go sam! 3rd and he stacked, whata legend! cant wait to see what happens at stromlo!
Sam doesn't like the track. he is much more suited to very steep very techi trails. Stormlo just hasn't got the elevation for him. That said he will be hungry for a win after that stack so you never know. He needs to be up there to take a world cup series win.
Personally I think Rennie will step up at Stromlo, he is a power house and well suited to that style of track.
My pick would be Rennie, Peatie and maybe Sam on the podium.
rennie needs a bloody good smack bottom yeh im keen to see hill at stromlo only cause i know the track, it is imho a pretty crap track anyway, no flow, rough as guts, but should make for some interesting watching..i dont blame sam for not thinking its wc worthy..weve got plenty of better trails in oz..
i dunno sam is just so seamless compared to peaty, atherton..i mean its only a matter of seconds or m/s, they are all sh^t hot, dont get me wrong, but hills got my vote..plus i like his attitude, nice and humble
It still guts me every time I watch these vids, not only to see Sam fall, but Peaty missing out by so little AGAIN!
Can't wait for the World Cup round in Canberra. Sam may not like the track (not that many people do) but he still qualified fasted at the 2006/07 National Champs and funnily enough binned it on the last corner too in his final run.
For those that haven't seen it yet, we also had some bad luck in the 4X finals with Aussie hero Jared Graves winning every heat until he got taken out in the finals. Check it here: http://www.farkin.net/news/131787/2008_World_4X_...
