Price:
3,800.00

Hi all. Its been a while since I have sold a bike on here, but its time to let my beloved Epic race bike go.
First and foremost, this is a bike that has been loved and cared for regardless of cost. I have had two shock shock and fork services done on it and also a full bearing replacement done.
The spec is as follows:

XL S-Works Epic frame, Rockshox SID WC with brain.
Full XX1, brakes upgraded to Guide Ultimate.
Bottom Bracket and Jockey Wheels upgraded to C-Bear ceramic (google them - $$$)
Roval Control SL carbon wheels - no dinks or issues, replaced bearings recently.
Choice of tyres - I have so many (skinwalls or nice and racey, or safe and strong etc etc)

The pricing is really flexible as there are a few options I will be offering.
Base price for a complete bike is $3800 - that will be relatively stock (Sworks carbon seatpost, syntace stem, carbon bars, an S-works saddle - upgraded) and the Sworks carbon crank (brand new warranty replacement), choice of 32 or 34 chainring, round or ovalised. Choice of tyres.

To get even more bike for your money, I have the following things I will option in:

2nd set of wheels - DT hubs, Spec alloy rims, choice of tyres, will also include a 2nd 10-42 cassette and rotors.

Quarq XX1 Power Meter.

Extralite stem -12 degree, 110mm (85grms - and as a strong as hell).

Ritchey seatpost (tuned) 175grms and 'trai' application , so strong.

For the full package - everything listed - bike, wheels and more tyres and chainrings than you will need, I want $5000.
We can talk about figures in between for various elements. Feel free to contact me directly if you just are interested in the power meter or spare wheels etc.

It is in excellent condition. Really good. Of course, it has been ridden and raced. Never, ever, badly crashed. It is straight and true. THe rear mech has a scrape on it from a rock - although it is entirely cosmetic - the hangar wasnt even bent, and the top tube has a slight mark from when the bars have spun (the perils of running a negative rise stem). All only cosmetic.

This is a premium race bike, with a spec you would struggle to buy (the bb, jockey wheels and Extralite stem alone are worth $1000aud), it will weigh somewhere around 9.5kg.
I'll chuck in some S-works carbon bidon holders too....

Tell your friends. Get involved. I want this gone people!!!
Can share many more photos...

Is there a size Large frame option? Eye-wink

Antsonline's picture

@Hawkeye - if only there were.

The salesman in me tells me that I should suggest you try it as it is on the small side of XL (I'm 6'3" and have the seatpost close to max).

The realist in me tells me you are just winding me up.

The friend in me tells me to make you aware that Kyle Ward will be selling his 'L' Epic of the same spec (but with an RS1 fork) very soon....

I was just winding you up. I think the HTT length will be too long.

Kyle's sounds interesting but I'm not so keen on that flexy fork.

Can you tell me, will the bottle cages accept full size (700ml) Camelbak drink bottles x 2?

Seatpost diameter?

Seatpost is 27.2, so there are a few options for droppers, but not loads (I assume that is why you are asking) - the frame is set up to run with internal dropper capability.
If you wanted the bike without seatpost and saddle (because you have your own preference, I'd be happy to reduce price as it would get me out of buying a new one)

on the bidons - you can certainly run a big on on the down tube, i have never tried to run one on the seat-tube.
The issue with those Camelback bidons is not the size of the bidon, its the length of the nozzle - so much to suck on!!

I like the CB bidons as they're fat - shorter for comparable volume than most road bidons.

Hmmm... seatpost diameter. Was hoping to reuse my Reverb.

what are you replacing it with ?

On the bottle cages, you can only fit the smaller camelbak bottle on the seat tube.

well - its actually the same bike! I am just updating things so I stay on top of model year and then dont face a big gap when it takes time to sell. The frame remains the same for 2017 and its just the change to Eagle that is different.
I have no issues with the bike - its excellent. I wouldnt look elsewhere.
