Hey... so HMBA have some trail building pictures from Awaba up:

The terrain there looks very similar to sections of Ourimbah. But then again, they are not far from each other, are they? Looks like it will be a nice ride once it is finished. I am always keen on riding new trails! Smiling

Yep, we are finally building. First build day got us about 800m into the process.

Terrain wise we are presented with a mixture of Killi and Ourimbah, so it should flow, but a HMBA trail will finally have hills. Big hills when we get to one of the later stages.

I'll come back later and post up the trail map, but the initial loop under construction is 8km's in length (all single trail) and won't be overly technical. This trail will be the back bone of the network and off it will be the tech sections, the big climbs and the longer trails.

We hope to have this loop closed by christmas , but as its built it will interact with fire road to form smaller loops as the bigger one evolves.

For those interested, next build day is Saturday July 26, at 8am.
