Rob... who still has a contusion (on the damaged shin) after the last ride there almost 9 weeks ago (May 17).
Don't worry I'll take the smarter option and strap all sorts of pads on for this one!
But yes it is surprising that I've never made it out there after 2 years!
I hear that Tien's 575 may even get a run. About time he blew the cobwebs off that machine

I'm planning to hit up Menai on Sunday so don't want to come back utterly shagged!
If you go to Menai on Sunday, click on my name and find my phone number and contact me if you want a riding companion. I ride here pretty much every weekend and I reckon I'm somewhat of an expert. About where to go at the least.

Happy to get a riding buddy for Sunday and as I live in Waverley / Charing X, I guess one of us should collect the other (my car has about as much comfort as sitting on a razor wire toilet seat but happy to drive).

Isn't there some road closures through the city over the weekend for this daft WYD events? Given the congestion, you may want to allow extra travel time to get to Menai.
