Angry Doctor route map anyone ?
Does anyone out there have a route map for the Angry Doctor ?
I know the course is a bit different from last year but I haven't seen a map for either this years or last years race.
I probably won't get the time to go down for a recce before the race, but I wouldn't mind getting a feel for the route anyway.
I'd love to hear some reports of last years race to get an idea of the terrain..... particularly in comparison to this years Dirtworks 100.
Otherwise, I might see some of you down there....( but only if you're running very slowly !)

Can't comment on this year, but for last, MB is your friend...
I only did the 50:

There are a couple of 100Km profiles from other riders, I would suggest the vertical in this first one is the more accurate as they didn't use MB Gravity (a feature that sucks):

Although, I note that rider skipped a piece of track in the first 50Km loop the one below (and my 50Km course above) did (compare them in the North East corner):

Tut, tut, tut!
Hi Rob
Thanks for that. Be interesting to hear what the terrain is like compared to dirtworks.( I'm told it's not as rough or technical but is maybe more physically challenging due to the constant ups and downs)
Which bike are you planning to use ?..... I'd also be interested in hearing peoples recommendations for tyres for the event.

I'll be on the Rush at the Doctor, same as Dirtworks.
Reckon the trails (first half at least - any comment on the second?) were a lot smoother and easier than Dirtworks. There's nothing at all technical but got stuck behind a few people who didn't like twisting sniggle - que!?
Look at the profile and you'll see, the vertical in the doctor comes from lots of up and down rather than a few of large climbs. Mind you - I'd rather get them done in large blocks you can get a rhythm on to be honest.
