Mogo - mud tyres
A choice of Maxxis Crossmarks, Maxxis Ignitor and Kenda Small Block 8, all UST and 2.1, which would you recommend for a rear tyre? (front has Ignitor already)
I am thinking Ignitor may be the best of 3 as it has big blocks wide apart... since Mogo is going to be a mud pit.
Thanks.
Tien.

It will need to rain a lot more down there first most of the rain has been falling quite a bit further up the cost here is the weather for Batemans bay over the last week just a bit forther up the coast http://www.bom.gov.au/climate/dwo/IDCJDW2011.lat...
Crossmarks & Small blocks will fill with mud turn into slicks and weigh a tonne .I'm running Maxxis Monorail on the back with Schwalbe Racing Ralph on the front..Perfect(I hope)
Well over 20mm has fallen there so far. There is also a big band of rain heading down there as I type this according to the radar.
It all depends on how well the tracks cope with rain. Plus the fact that hundreds will be in front of me tearing it up first
And I'll be sticking with Ignitors on the front. Unforunately only have a Crossmark for the rear so will cross my fingers and hope it's not too muddy.
LOL... I don't think so! Where is Ralph?
Ignitor front for me, and there's a Larsen on the rear which think will keep. Have an option to change rear to high roller which has more space between the nobs.
Hmmmmm... muuuuud
I've got a spare pair of Bontrager Jones ACX UST 2.1 x 26 with pretty big blocks and wide spacing (suitable for mud) if someone wants to borrow (or buy) them.
Used once on Brenda's FSR - too bumpy for her (mostly road/hardpack) riding.
Good for wet / muddy / all conditions.
Specs + pics here: http://www.bontrager.com/model/00432/en
Contact me on mobile if you want them.
I'll be running the stock Spesh Enduro Pro 2.3 for Mogo.

First aid kit in your camelbak if your running a Larsen on the back Rob.Ride close to Tien could be a good option as well
Yeah - I was thinking about that. I also have some much more nobby Bontranger and Nevegal available - think the latter might be a better option.
FWIW - riding close to Tien? In these conditions? I don't think so!
I know what it's like first hand to ride near Tien in dry grippy trails
It ended up with a bent spoke and a bent axle
Imagine the carnage in the wet
Sounds like Ignitor is the better choice then. Thanks to all.
Me go to sleep now and see you all down there tomorrow.
