toying with the idea of upgrading my specialized epic but as its heavilly upgraded i dont know its true second hand value. Its an 07 epic comp thats only been used for racing in the last year as i have an enduro for general trail riding. Its got bontrager carbon bars and stem, juicy ultimates ( used twice ) noir carbon cranks ( used about 6 times ) carbon seat post and ti railed seat. X0 grip shift and rear derailer. Not ridden since front and rear shock service and rear pivot bearings replaced. Estimated cost if new would be around 6 grand plus. I have no idea how much to ask for it. Pm me with any suggestions. Stuart, no funnies ok! Sorry about the way this is written as im doing from my phone.

you think I would make light of such an important issue, the parting of a dearly loved "friend". Besides, we both know that you are half the man I am and therefore this bike would be too small for me to offer you the $5 it is worth.

I do love your optimism though, "new would be worth around six grand plus". Sadly mate you are forgetting the Gary factor.

All jokes aside, I think this sounds like the perfect upgrade for that Beany character. Pure xc race machine, custom built for that Narrabeen lake circuit he speaks so fondly of and with all that carbon it would look right at home with all the bling crack n' fails lined up outside the local coffee shop as he grabs his post ride latte.

Still wondering what the Gary factor is? Its had your arse on it http://nobmob.com/node/2751

Shoot, your reverse psychology has gone and made me post a stupid comment in a serious thread. Damn your mind games Gaz Eye-wink

Good luck with the sale mate.

While my Mongoose Manuever still rockets past other on the NL circuit I having been thinking about an upgrade.

$6k for damaged goods is very excessive - Ive read about your riding Gazza, you crash a lot don't you.

if i upgraded I would want a fastere bike and based on your race results it must be a slow bike.

Someone PM'd that your wife is making you sell, so since its a forced sale - will you accept $899 for it.

selling parts - part x with mine?

i'd be interested in cranks, bars and rear derailier (spelt - sure there is a u in there).

my parts are standard from a 07 stumpjumper fsr comp.
