Different Leg Lengths

After having intermittent inner right knee pain for a while I decided to get myself of to the physio for some advice. As I actually didn't have any pain during the visit he gave me the once over and checking my joints and flexibility. To no surprise I require regular stretching and just need to monitor it and see how it goes.

One thing he did say though is my right leg is about 10-15mm longer then my left one. He said this is quite normal and nothing to worry about but is this something I need to look into regarding bike set up?

If anyone has the same issue and has done some changes which helped please let me know.

Cheers
Brian

I have no personal experience with this, yet my bike geek brain is responding to the challenge with the following waffle;
Try different length cranks left and right. It my sound crazy yet 10 - 15 mm is a lot of difference and could very well be the core of your problem.
I'd say a regular 175 on the right and a 170 on the left. Obtaining the odd crank will, at worst, require the purchase of a complete crankset in that size. Oh well, if it relieves the pain...
Then, find a set of pedals you like where the cleats have a lot of adjustment fore and aft and side to side. Be really anal with set up.
Your seat height and adjustment fore and aft and tilt is also critical. Once again, be very anal with set up and keep making adjustments until happiness is achieved.
The seat itself is also crucial. If your arse is not liking your seat it will affect your knees and hips because you are compensating for the discomfort and shifting about.
That's my take on it. There are plenty of pro bike fit people out there which are well worth contacting.
All the best.

delicious-p maybe someone on here would have some old cranks lying around for Brian to try, I also thought that changing the length of crank by only 2 1/2mm to start with may be safer since being used to the same length on both sides till now.
