An injury leaves our fine team of veterans 1 short for next weekend's shenanigans. (Will be a) team of 6 - jokes, enthusiasm, cookery, cool digs, scattered facial hair and somewhere to park your bike included.

Let us know asap. Cheers! Harry, Pikey, Brian, Craig, Morgan.....

Pikey turns into a mini Hitler at these events!!!

Our captain is a great bloke and a great leader - as long as we don't get too far behind his schedule. Beer also works well with him in getting out of night laps.

All you need to bring is bedding and grog, our camp is already set for everything else, just throw in for some food.

You could even arrive Saturday morning!

And by the way I am not mean and horrible, Christine Sad

Just thorough and demanding Smiling

Thanks for the support vise captain Harry.

Guys, CORC uses the average age of the 6 riders (to 2 decimal points) to determine the category and given that some of your riders are well north of 40, you may be able to get by with rider under 40.

I'd say under those rules you could have someone of almost any age that can ride a bike into the team, so even if you're 16 you're in with a shot. Smiling

Just done the averages and we can have anyone from 28 upwards and still be officially in the over 40's category - but anyone that might be keen to ride is encouraged to come along. Adding to what Greg said even coming along on Sat for a few laps on Sat or even Sun for a few laps on Sun could also be an option if only after a 1 day excursion.

John, how do you think we got Christine on my team - I skewed the average way up which allowed someone as young as her to join a 40+ team.

Harry, if you are really desperate I might do a few laps for you, but only if Pikey is nice to me.

You had such a young thing like Christine in your team already.

Paul,

You doing a couple of laps for the Soring Forties??

From memory you only did two laps for your team over the entire race at last years Mont Sticking out tongue

You have obviously seen our team menu..the scraps for you if your lucky Eye-wink (lobster legs and Oyster shells)

Yes I only completed two offical laps - so I should have plenty of energy to help you poor buggers out.

I offered to help and you just offer me your scraps, no wonder Christine jumped ship and you are having trouble getting a sixth rider - you are morphing into a little Hitler.

Pieky,

I'll be in Canberra over the weekend (Rodney has a display in Floriade) and I would love to join your team. Canberra is such a fun place to ride because it's nice and flat.

What do I have to do and who do I have to see?
Do you want me to sleep over or can I go back to my hotel room?
Do I get a racing number on my bike?

I'm very excited?
