Dam Conditions

Any thoughts on how the conditions might be for a ride tonight?

There was a short but heavy downpour a couple of hours ago in St Leonards however the sun is making an appearance.

Having not ben here for a few weeks I don't know if there has been much water on the tracks recently.

Ta!

It bucketed down here (Brookie) for about 20mins before lunch and was on and off before that so I think it may be a tad damp...
Sad

I had a feeling that might be the case.....

I was planning on riding the perimeter track at Terry Hills straight after work tonight but I don't know how well that track dries out. I don't want to spend longer cleaning my bike than riding it! It has rained most of the morning and hosed it down in Belrose today.

and all last night.

Only really stopped raining here about 2.30 so I would think that TH would be pretty wet. Have you checked the weather pages to see how much it got?

It rainded heavily since about 10 am then it absolutely poured at about 2:30, but since then its been fairly dry. However the perimiter track is likely to be a complete mudpit. So if you're going to ride duckholes and centre is the way to go

Thanks for the weather update, Martin

We've switched our Thursday night ride to Duckholes + Centre.

I rode the dam yesterday and it was fine. Puddles in the usual places of course but otherwise not too bad.
