Saturday for me I am on a short leash at the moment.
yeah id be interested in the sat ride as well as long as its hardtail friendly and not to techy with jumps...
bit of a noob still
I should be ok for this on Saturday but will confirm closer to the date.
Keen but tentative at this stage...
Anyone keen to car pool to share expenses (while of course less pollution for the env.)
I can fit 2 other bikes as long as 1 has an uninterupted top tube (like a Giant)
Or am happy (happier) to tag along with someone else and help out with their expenses
Can travel from Mona Vale to meet
As I have to pretty much drive by the Cupcake's baking tray thought we would sort a ride. Andy - you could meet us there and the three of us could drive to the start together?
i'll jump in with you mate. let me know
Can 4 bikes n bods fit on young cupcakes baking tray?
If so, I can give young Gazza a lift to the oven or vice versa
Let me know your recipe
Ah... his baking tray only takes 3 bikes. I can fit 4 bikes + pastries in the fozzer depending on frames. Perhaps I should go with the sponge and you & Gazza ride together?
I could get a trailer!! However not sure how we could make that work if most of you all live in the NOB's! (Northern Sydney/beaches)
Any suggestions?
The ride is hardtail friendly and not very technical, it's more about cornering fast through single track and anything your not sure about just walk it.
Cheers.
for s*%t
But I can bake with Gaz
Or we could Patridge family the trailer idea, but may be logistically challenging
Given where we live
Are you sure you want to catch a lift with the non overnighter crew (not that there's anything wrong with them) but you have clicked the star for the overnighter.
i just read the end of the thread and thought it was for this sunday at ourimbah! DOH! by the way, is anyone got a spare seat for this sunday?, i can get to their house.
If you can get to Thornleigh (Evan's gaf) you and your bike can come with me. That goes for one other person too. Evan is going with Bruce. Apparently. But he's my team mate! Sob. I'm simply following so as to not get lost.
You need to stop stealing blondie's wine
OK. So I'm going to meet at Bruce's piecart for a lift?
I'm confused. I need a drink.
Sunday's logistics have been sorted...
I want to do the Pivot 4 hr the following Saturday and doing this ride will just stretch my luck to far with the family.
what time does this train leave glenbrook???
I know it seems like a silly choice but I may doe the oaks instead of hazelbrook as i have to get to manly by mid afternoon
Andrew
What are your proposed trails for Saturday? More Lawson/Hazo stuff?
I decided not to catch the train up as they have graded Ingar and it's too boring, so we have enough single track to keep us happy in Hazo/Lawson so that will be much more fun.
Liam, there will be some trails new to you on Saturday, on Sunday we have more single track never before seen by the MoB just down the road and it's more technical so leaning more to your liking, only today while Alex and I were there working on the route to take on Sunday we found a couple more nice trails new to us.
C.G.
So on Saturday, are still meeting at Woodford train station to get the 8:54am train? I'm not down for this ride but still am a maybe.
Yes, we are meeting at the same place same time, no we are not catching the train.
John.
I will have to give this one a miss
I have two mates attending this ride with me on saturday, who are not NobMobers but are fit enough, ride highend bikes, however lack some jumping confidence. Jumping meaning riding off stairs, some really (i think) simple drops and riding over large rocks. They average 3 local rides per week...and are more then capable not to slow the group down too much.
I'd like to join you guys on Saturday, see you then.
That's great and the trails are not difficult to ride so see you tomorrow.
John
....John, now go to bed you have a big weekend ahead as our excellent guide.
See you in the morning mate, can't wait.

.........
It's not often that he can get a manicure, pedicure, facial scrub and haircut all booked for the same morning...
Mate, you missed out... and then some!
Top day in the Blue-ies! Big thanks to John and Alex for organising and guiding us through the glorious sniggle... That was definitely a fun day out!
Many thanks John for organising a super day out, & Alex lead man out front, fantastic job!
