It's a VERY cheap event. Entry + race jersey for less than the SCOTT 24.

they do a team of 10 -that's a very big team hey! either you would have to be super social or it's a hard track!
maybe they figure it will take the average xc rider a half hour to get to the top, an hour and a half to get back down and then not be seen on the track again
(TIC of course)
