Help wanted on route Nth Sydney - North Rdye for scummer
Hey all, just moved to North Sdyney and workin gin North Ryde in the business park by Microsoft. Anybody recommned a route friendly to scummers? I need to crack a few miles for fitness. I checked the tracks on NSW site but seems to be some big gaps.
Also be keen on rides in LCNP at lunchtime if anybody can be my guide.

Same start point, however I go completely the wrong way from you, so it not of much help. Browse the site and do searches and you might find some helpful routes put up there

Hey Mark,
I used to ride St Leonards -> Mac Park by going along the freeway cycle path to Pacific H/W then cutting through back streets, down Mowbray Road then over the river on the bike lane and a few more backstreets + over the footbridge right by the Optus Prison.
From North Sydney reckon you'd want to ride all the way to the top of West St (to Munro Park) where there's a really nice path that runs round to the freeway where you can pick up the route above. You could even go straight down Epping road now the path is finished but be careful by the Shell servo.
Can you believe the 'official' cycle route from West St goes down the freeway off ramp on Amherst St the wrong way! I tried this once but it's complete suicide - you have to cross 4 lanes of traffic! Plus, the path through Munro Park is really nice so I never went the Amherst off ramp way ever again.
Hope this direction is OK - I'm not feeling very well - let me know if you need a map and will try and draw you something later. Or look in my MB for a City -> Chatswood route.
P.S. I know Noel rides regularly in LCNP after work, see his entry in the calendar today.
