I missed the last (and only?) ride that took place at Brisbane Waters National Park. I understand this was a great ride, but I have only ever seen the pictures! Was anyone interested in riding through there again over Christmas? Rob, do you know the way around there?

I ride up there a bit but I generally take the safer options as no one else will come with me. If the day suits, I'm there for sure as I would love to see if certain things I pass on are actually rideable.
BWOAR!

I've done bushwalks in the area but never ridden so I'd be keen to join too after Xmas Smiling

depending on the day.
i can ride from avalon, get the ferry at palm beach, get off at patonga and ride the trail up to meet you guys. how cool? a mtb ride up on the central coast without even getting in the bloody car!

Brian's picture

GAZZA, that would be cool. I could see myself joining* you for that.

*will need to check google and confirm the distance first Eye-wink

that would be fun if we all took the Ferry Smiling how long is the trip? Always good to avoid driving on the F3...

Here is the time table http://www.sydneysceniccruises.com/ferry_timetab.... Looking at this we could get the 9am ferry across and the 3pm or 4:15pm back.

Alysum's picture

9am - 3pm that's 6 hours, a bit long for riding I think especially if it gets very hot Sad or we could stop for a couple of hours for drinks or something at Patonga Smiling
Anyway...let's organise the ride first before the how to get there!

alysum, are you a man or a mouse? 6 hours social riding with a ferry ride thrown in is absolutely nothing. plenty of stops and chats. bring enough food for snacks and youll be right.Smiling
