*Sold* Tubeless Stans / Hope Pro II Wheelset
I have a set of All Mountain / Freeride wheels for sale.
These are built up on black Hope Pro II hubs with Hope skewers.
The Rims are Stans 'Freeride / Downhill', a 32mm width rim, similar to the current 28mm ZTR Flow rims. http://www.notubes.com/product_info.php/manufact... They are light for their size at 550g each.
They come with Stans Rim Strips, and have Wheelsmith SS double butted spokes.
I've used regular tyres on these, generally a maxxis minion single ply front, and larson 2.35 rear. Also has good success with Kenda Nevegals. The 'regular' non-tubless tyres save about 200g overall over tubeless tyres, and makes a real difference in unsprung weight and acceleration.
I got these wheels for my 5" all-mtn bike a couple of years ago, but never really used them a lot, as I got back into racing about the same time and have tended to be doing lighter and faster stuff than they are designed for. (using my other Stans Arch and Olympic wheelsets). These ones are 32mm wide, and can run tyre pressures in the high 20's/low 30's with no risk of burping and give unbelievable grip, and great stability of the tyre on the rim. They are a whole lot better for tubeless than crossmax, I tried them before moving to Stans rims for all my wheels.
If you want a strong wheelset, like to run tyres 2.2 and bigger these are just the ticket!
They are lightly used, tight and true. There are a few superficial scratches an marks as expected from Sydney trails, but not enough to worry about.
Weights:
Front: 930g
Rear: 1008g
Skewers (pair): 126g
The hubs and skewers alone are worth $366 at chain reaction 'sale' prices today.
I'm asking $425. I'll help mount up your tyres as part of the deal.
PM or call me if you want more info.

A few pics: I have new 'Stans yellow rim tape' to fit under the rim strips but haven't got around to it yet.

Whisperer,
Can the front hub be converted to a 20mm thru axle? If so I may no someone who'd be interested if you have no luck locally.
Cheers
Rob
All the same with the Pro II - just pull out the centre and insert the correct size for your axle - very nice
I'd imagine this has been the same since their inception, but I let Whisperer confirm the model he has is like this.
Hope Pro hubs are modular, and can take pretty much any axle with the right spacers/adaptors.
I have them set up with quick releases.

Whisperer, I won't ask why you are selling such nice wheels.
Just for the record, I think I am right in saying that the first Hope Pros can't be converted to QR through axle, as I have
a set. However I'm certain that the Pro II's here can be converted, see the video (complete with a mild accent) here
Hey Dylan,
I'm funding a new set of forks, and the way the dollar is I have to part with some of my kit.
I built these wheels for 'going big', jumping off stuff, and being a bulletproof reliable wheelset. Alas good sense got the better of me and I never did 'go big', or jump off anything substantial. They've sat there just coming out occasionally for the Old North Road, Mooney, Red Hill and the like.
Thanks for the links, these ones do have the removable adaptors and large diameter bearings, so should be convertable as needed.

I've only had a few enquiries so far, and general opinion is the price was a bit high for a second hand wheelset.
I've droped the price to $425 now.
Anyone interested at that price point?
