Details:
I reckon it'll be just lovely to pedal around Manly Dam after I've been at work supplying the good people of the western suburbs with their bicycle needs, and I've not been here in ages. It's late so we beat the heat, yet still daylight. This is no night ride.
It'll be just two laps of the regular course then everyone can go home and be available for their preferred Saturday night activities.
Everyone's welcome. Newbies, oldies, fast, slow, girls, guys. Everyone.

yeah I should be able to come to this
so i am a maybe for the moment.
He's a bit slow on the uphills but can do all the downhill bits. Come to think of it, that sounds like me.
Will be my first nobmob ride, so looking forward to putting faces to names.
this will be my first group ride. looking forward to it (if my bike is fixed!). i'm in a silver ute.
I'll be riding a really loud lime green Jekyll.
I'm a maybe too right now. Very much considering coming down for a ride since I haven't done Manly dam yet, but I'm awaiting confirmation if I'm actually going to be available tomorrow arvo.

Did a road ride this morning and my word it was hot! Feel sorry for the guys riding at Marra & Ourimbah today!
The mercury is curently at 41!! Without a camelbak I'll die of exposure...
I'm going to aim for an early few around the dam tomorrow instead - anyone keen to join me??

Don't worry about us - there was a nice breeze at Ourimbah.
Might have kept the temperature under 40... might!
And we could stop by the car each lap and gulp down ice cold drinks. Well - at least the one of us that was prepared did!
3 laps in that was still enough though. Not sure I'd want to have been at Marramarra, and not sure you'd want to do more than one of the Dam this arvo!
the dam is chronic hot first saturday in ages i havent seen the masses riding round.
Yeh I've decided against going down there today. It's way too stinking to go riding right now.
I'm bailing too. In the shade is fine, but the direct sun is like a furnace. Bugger.
Sitting in the back room here as I type the sweat is just pouring off me. I might put the lights on and see what it's like in a couple of hours.

You lot are too soft ....well perhaps a little saner than those who turned up , once the change kicked in it was great , and with only a few other riders out there ( for me to hold up ) was loads of fun too . It was good to meet a few more ppl today
