Thanks, Andrew. Busy diary on Thursday
I don't get off work till 5 so i can't make it, damn it woulda been great to meet you all, although I might head off after work for a lap.
There was a butt-load of rain on the Central Coast last night. How did Manly fare? Those with experience, will it be ok to ride the Dam today?
BWOAR!
I'd guess the Dam will be OK this arvo. It copped a bit of rain last night, but was bone dry before then so after a day of blazing sun will be fine I'd think.
As far as I know it's still open. Will try my best to get there on time .If not have a good ride.
she was wet a lot wetter than i expected, when on ride last night.
I'll make a call at 2pm whether to come or not. It's still dry in the city.
Andrew, I've got your number in my phone, so will call you if I'm not going to come.
I rode the dam before work today and it was very wet.
might be OK with the wind and heat, but i skipped the section from the rock garden to the cross over to bantry bay as it was like a creek.
I'm still buggered from my training ride at 5.30am this morning.
Andrew, I think you've got a nice little group there to take you around the Dam.
Have fun!
See you when I'm back from holidays - leaving tomorrow - woohooo!
Sorry i couldn't make it today. Got held up at the mechanic fixing my bloody Land Rover.. Grrrrrrr.
Next time.
Cheers
George.
No problems George. It was an epic though with countless tyre issues (some that didn't even belong to our group), stacks and the heat. If your having trouble with your Land Rover, you may be interested in a 2005 Hyundai Tucson Elite 4WD - at a special NobMob price of 16 Gorillas!
Thanks guys for showing me around the dam - good fun.
BWOAR!
Cheers mate, but the LR is here to stay. Too much invested in it to even dream about parting ways. I'm going to run it into the ground. It seems you enjoyed the Dam, had it dried out ?
Cheers
George.
Thanks for the company.Clearly need to do some work on the fitness side to keep up with you guys.
Cheers Stu.
Yeah, it was dry. No Mud, just a couple of puddles up the top. My bike came home dusty.
BWOAR!
