*** CANCELLED ***

This event has been cancelled as they couldn't get the defence force to allow race access to their land. Better luck next year! Sad

Entries open 20 February 2009.

This takes in all the Canberra tracks so it should be awesome!

In keeping with the AROC Sport reputation (think the awesome Angry Doctor course) there will be a huge amount of fantastic single track, well marked and groomed and making for a super fun and thrilling ride.

The 100km course will start at Sparrow Hill to the east of Canberra. The sweeping berms and smooth flowing tracks will make you giggle with glee and warm you up before you cross over into the Kowen Forest, the site of the original 24 hour MTB. Then you will hit the famous Majura Pines for a whole lot of "whoops" and excited hollers before heading into Bruce Ridge, through Black Mountain, past the Cork Plantation and into the world class Mt Stromlo tracks.

Aroc website says entries have been postponed as they can't get access to some defence land....

Hope it's only temporary

Probably an issue with crossing Majura Range? Being a live fire range and all. Moving target practice....awesome Smiling

Oh also knowing how Defence works.......this could take a while.
