What's the etiquette for riding Terry Hills in the wet?

Hi All,

Just wondering if it's ok to ride Terry Hills with a wet track? I don't mind a bit of rain riding (and I'm a bit stir crazy from a 2nd wet weekend) but I don't want to damage tracks either. Obviously the dam is out and I noticed others rode Terry Hills in the wet last week.

Thanks

Ah - it's all firetrail - you can't damage it so get out there! Smiling

Just watch the horse pooh run off at the bottom of the hill near the Japanese School (heading East). Yerch!

Duck Hole/Centre are all firetrail too and drain very well.

You can't damage these trails - they are very hardy and stand up the torrential rain very well. In fact, the Terrey Hills trails are some of the best for this. Plus, you tend to ride these trails in a straight line, under fairly hard-packed or sandy trails, so they stand up to the punishment and do not rut. As Rob says... get out there!! I rode some Centre track today and it was fine under heavy rain. Just stay off your brakes!! Smiling

Yeah I got caught out along Perimeter earlier today when the first storm rolled in. It became very very wet very very quickly. All good fun though.
