We are aiming to have someone from the team leave early-ish on Friday to get a good spot set up the 'whisperer tarp'.
Does anyone know if we'll be able to camp trackside? i.e. does the track run past the camping area?

The Snoring Forties have been struck down by bad luck this year. Not through bike related injuries but the other evil tasks necessary to make cycling possible (ie Work).

I will be down about 11am on Friday to set up camp. I can stake out some tent spots if you wish but i will need some tape and stakes.

You mentioned Stuart and Liam at one stage if that helps jog the memory. Maybe your team are watching and will own up and help out. Too funny...

I know you meant me but confusing when there is a kiwiboy as well. I have found a tarp to borrow, I know Delicious was hoping one of us could bring one so will probably go down Friday evening now to get that there in plenty of time I guess. Didn't I see Evan mentioned in another team?? Is that the same Evan as our team member? He will be busy!!

My next question is – who is going down earlish on Friday other than Lorrie as I assume we will all want to camp together? I know I want to be near the Snoring Forties so I can see Greg get his Race Hitler Face and wave that whiteboard around...

Yes, we want to camp together as Nobmob bunch, it's always fun like that.
We really want to be close to transition, or beside the track for easy transitions, particularly during the night.
I've asked before but does anyone know if the track goes by the camping area?
I've got some wooden stakes (with Nobmob written on them) to help marking out an area, and some tape is good too (we've used pink in the past, $6/100m from bunnings).

We'll have a 6*5m tarp, a gazebo, couple of tents and a few cars.
Who else is putting up a tarp, because it can be good to do them side by side to make a good big area?
