If anyone has been up this week or is going up this weekend, please let us know how muddy it is.

Spoke to organisers today - trail will drain well but there are going to be a few splash pools. Still very sandy and rocky.

Did a lazy 50 km today - up Western Commission through to the top end of GNR past Clares Bridge, about 5 km along the top ridgeline of GNR, back down Devines. Lot of debris on the track up the top, and some water lying about, all in the usual places.

Ironically all the usual water spots have the B-lines for when they are full, but where the track has been freshly graded, the few kms past the gate on Devines, the water is lying abount on the new areas - but of course no side lines to avoid them - couold get messy on the day.

The track itself is fine, even a little dust, Bit overgrown in some spots but all good. If we don't get any rain this week it will dry right out.

The grading has certainly removed some joy, but still some good gardens Smiling
