Sparrow Hill and Stromlo Ride hard and keep warm What can i say ....Sparrow Hill just under two hours to do two laps of the hybrid blue and red lap .
22.50 k's of super smooth single track What a blast . I was the only person in the forrest tonight but it didnt matter i went as hard as my body would go and Damn that is fun ....Bobsled what a hoot .. i could have kept going all night but the Mont coffee van wasn't there and my tummy got a tad hungry too
Now for Bermagui tomorrow night ....

Tell me, does this mean the markers from the Mont are still in place?
The mont course is closed but there are two marked laps if, like me , you could get lost on a football field, you can follow and chop and change where they intersect without the fear of getting lost .... But when you come down this way i will show you and you too can blast down Bobsled to your hearts content
I shat myself last week when I did Sparrow Hill at about 3pm and it was dark from the shade of the trees. You're a brave sod to do it on your own at night.

Go To Stromlo on a clear night , no moon, mid week after the gates are locked ( park car outside) Then you will really freak out , it feels like you are the only person on earth. I have never packed up as quick as that ever but didnt make it there tonight , my sooky la la legs had enough at Sparrow Hill
You'll have an absolute blast at Bermagui! Watch those logs though......
But i really like the idea of being in a forest in pitch black and single track all to myself. Assuming i had some lights of course. I think i'll get some AYUP's when i get back from holiday...
