More than likely NOT to be cancelled ride @ Menai
By the sports field on Old Illawarra Road, Barden Ridge.
Posting this ride with hope there’s not going to be rain between now and Wednesday……..
Plan on riding for an hour to an hour and a half on what has become a regular XC loop for me and I won’t be venturing near the free ride areas, DH, etc. It is tricky in sections in the dark, but that adds to the fun.
Pace will be determined by who turns up and reasonable night riding skills will be needed.
I’ve said that this ride will “More than likely be cancelled” not only because of the track condition, but I’m not holding out much hope that people will venture all the way down to Menai for an evening ride. So please don’t show up without looking at the post a couple of hours before it’s due to start. I’ll up date Wednesday afternoon. If I have at least on taker, and it’s dry over the next few day’s it will be on

Hey Chris I will hopefully be able to get out to Menai again on a regular basis but at the moment I will say maybe.
Hangover, post "Xmas in July" overeating, weather and traffic providing, I'll most likely be head to Menai on Sunday arvo if you want to join.
Will be looking at a 2pm ish start. Prob at the layby but possibly at the entrance to the tip.

how are ya mate did the steed clean up alright? had a blast, im keen but i have to get my forks back together, probably something to do with the chain? i'll check closer to the day

Banged up my knee today at high speed down St Helena's it feels a little dodgy and my fork needs a service now after this last ride but will be up for this Menai again soon.
Damien, sorry to hear you've injured yourself. I hope it isn't too serious and you're back in the saddle soon. Be great to see you at Menai again also.
Anthony, bike cleaned up well after our last ride, they seem to clean a lot easier when there new! Mate, if you're still keen for tomorrow night, let me know.
If anyone else want's an hour and a half of some challenging but fun night riding, it would be great to see you there.

Anyway i went to Appin today , probably tomorrow too in the morning ( still dogged the bridge drop ) So the training is still on track
