Green with yellow dots. It couldn't give a stuff that I was waiting for it to cross the track so I could ride on, took it's sweet time!

So you know how they've been putting piles of branches next to various parts of Manly Dam to stop people riding where they shouldn't? Said branches probably start out quiet soft and squashy, being freshly fallen, so that's a good plan, yeah?
Well, maybe not. Because give these barriers a few months to bake in the sun, dry out, become brittle. Then, have to step off the trail in an emergency. The only option for me this evening was to put a foot into a pile of these now sharp and jagged sticks.

Some sniggle or well used animal trail here. If it wasn't so hot and we had a schedule maybe following this would be a good plan?

At the top of probably the steepest hill you'll ever ride. The trail ahead (behind us) drops around 900 vertical metres in a little over 5Km!
