For Sale – my Whyte Kings Cross CX

This bike is about 3-4 months old. It spends most of its life attached to my stationary trainer and has done maybe a dozen road rides so appears almost brand new. I’m selling because I’ve done a deal with the purchase of my new Whyte mountain bike so get the next CX model up at a very good price.

Have never taken it off road. Just used as a road bike with better brakes Smiling

Specification:

Frame: 6061 Hydro Formed T6 Aluminium, Custom Drawn, Multi Butted with Post Mount Disk mount. Size S but is a big size S as I ride M in all other bikes.

Update: I'm back in Sydney so this is now back up for sale.

I know this is a little off topic here, but this kind of bike may appeal to all types of riders. For both road and mountain riders wanting to get closer to the 'other side' (whatever that might be), Cyclocross is allegedly the 'in' way to do this and prove that your side is better than the other Eye-wink

Or on the other hand, are you looking for a sturdy commuter (or training bike even?) that's much faster and nicer to ride than hybrids and other such nonsense?

I am required in Manly Sunday arvo
So thought I could post a ride to kill 2 birds etc
With all the hoo ha I dare not post the dam or red hill
So TH it is
I'm thinking the old Dick holes and centre (did someone say sniggle - not me)
Then along to Salvation and a few others maybe - I'm open to any suggestions
Unfortunately there's a fair amount of fire trail and tar stuff, but we always manage to have a bit of fun
This is my only ride this week so I won't be rose smelling
But I won't be setting any land speed records either - all are welcome and points to drop out along the way

If I don't post it I won't go
So anyone up for a couple of laps or 3 maybe
Pace will be determined on the day
I've sworn off the 'roids, so pace won't be killer
Usual Bloot pace - smell the roses. That type of thing.
