At a Glance
Miles and miles of the sweetest single track you'll find. When climbing the often brutal hills remember what comes up must come down - and when it comes down on flowing sniggle what's not to love?!
TONIGHT: Social Night Ride: Terrey Hills [Perimeter + Long Trail]
Terrey Hills Tavern - Eastern Car park
Social night ride - Perimeter & Long trail [Everyone welcome - paced to accommodate newbies, too!]
Moderate pace...still recovering from the MTB overnighter...
...plus we can give an update on all the anecdotes from the fabulous Blue Mountains trip, the epic single tracks and funny campfire tales...(and plan the next one)
Naturally we'll have a cleansing ale at the Tavern afterwards (since we missed out on Bernd's homebrew!!!)
See you this eve...

Trees down on perimiter track
there is a tree down on the perimiter drack just after the hill on the second junction, its not movable, but it is possible to get of and walk around/over it one at a time. Don't come down the hill to fast as its pretty sudden.
Popran NP
While looking at yesterday's slight exploration from Brieses Rd I noticed that Popran NP is just the other side of Peats Ridge Road.
There's a few trails marked in there so I traced them out to measure, came in 16.6Km all up, that means if one rides this lot out and back it's a nice 33Km ride:
Berowra Valley and Castle Hill (Fred Caterson Reserve)
Hornsby
Big training ride epic...
Okay I know this sounds like a big ride...thats right its going to be 60km of joy!
After the Galston Gorge, we hit tar on Quarry Rd and head for Castle Hill via Round Corner on the Old North Rd, we get off at Gilbert Rd and take some parks, and backstreets to get to Fred Caterson Reserve.
There are some hidden gems of single tracks here, plus the trails within the reserve proper and the BMX track, which is always good for burning excess energy.
