old bar to wallabi tracks??

NB: Originally posted elsewhere on the Global Riders Network and appears via syndication.

I was wondering who is making the tracks between wallabi and old bar, because a few days ago i came across a few log rides and tracks, but the main track that goes from forrest lane to wallabi is cut of bye a fence right at the end. Sad (single track)

if there is a few riders that ride in there please tell me because i might start making tracks in there for you all.

Ridin' vs Running

Below is a preview, click to read the full post

With all the rain lately I've started to climb the walls and as a last resort I went back to the old habits and went for a run just to get get out there. The effect is severe leg ache the days after. I'm starting to think that running and riding uses quite different muscle groups and resorting to running might not be such a good substitute for ridig after all?

Is there anyone out there who knows anything about it? Is it good to combine or will running "eat" away on the rinding fitness or is running a good approach to keep the training going even when it is wet?

Diamondback Rider's

Below is a preview, click to read the full post

Ok, who here ride's a Diamondback? Cause frankly, i just spent $700 on the Axis Disc. And yeah it's pretty good, it ride's the Manly Dam and Oxford Fall's trails pretty damn well. No it does not have knuckle box (damn), it's got front rst and carbon ceramic disc brakes. 24 speed Shimano gears. Truvativ x-flow crankset, the bottom bracket is pretty average. The seat's nice, the frames alloy. The quick release is handy, as it won't fit in my car any other way. So yeah, please post if you have a Diamondback, or for that matter if you are hopinh or planning to buy one.
