Fernleigh Management Trail
South side DH 1
Ok we need a better name for this one so best suggestions at race 1 wins
Short little DH, similar to those at the northern end of the XC area but with a bit of Steepness.
Fun little trail
Escarpment Link Fire Trail
Riverside Fire Trail
The Squiggles
The squiggles is an integral part of any loop at the XC compound of Lidsdale.
A nice little loop on it's own it is the first ST section of our usual Twilight series loop (The othe rtwo being "Meggsies Maze of Madness" and "Acid Bomb/3 men and a chainsaw"
Fun in either direction, with the Squiggles we have the several options in how to include it into the bigger loop, including off shoots that will link up either side of the loop with "The dam climb" and "Flynny's frequent Fliers"
Murrua Road Firertail
This is firetrail but is actually marked as sealed road on the topo map.
Jubilee Oval Loop
Channel 6
Ch6.
A great introduction to Hassas Walls single trail (though a little over grown at the time of writing)
A tight and twisty start gets faster and steeper as you near the end of the ridge.
You pop out onto the fire rd a couple of time. At the end of the ridge head back in to the left before the tower and brace yourself for the infamous Ch6 rock garden.
High right to start and thread you way back to towards the center. If you make it though take the high right turn.
A long fast straight filled with Hwalls baby heads follows then it down left and into the maze.
Hip And Miss
Hip and Miss is one of the little DH runs CTMBC uses for smaller club races, especially Twilight races.
A fast, twisty start. Nothing out of the ordinary. then you cross the road...
The long bermed Daytona corner points you straight at Super Dry. A largish double with a five meter gap. Some nice flowing and a small drop before the bottom is grin inducing.
FBT
The BT stands for Bumpy Track...
One of the little DH runs we use for club racing, especially Twilight races.
Some fast corners and small table tops makes for a great, confidence building section to start this leads in to some tighter corners and then into the bumpy section... Mogul like Millats buck you all over the place. The pinners find doubles, triples and tranfers through here. I just hang on and hope for the best. Out of the moguls and over a small double and down a steep (for lidsdale) little finish
