You are here
Black Diamond
BlackDiamond
The steepest trail of Hassans Walls.
Bit of a hike to get a big bike to the start. The start is down an old fire trail, fast and fun.
Then you get to the cliff edge, Over the old ants nest and down through a break in the cliff and hard right
From here a maze of old moto trails and walking track converge with erosion gullies. The Black Diamond crisscrosses these and it can be hard to tell which trail to take. Most of them will get you to the bottom with out dropping you over too big a cliff...
The Pottery Track
The Pottery trail is a nice run, a little straight but a bit more full on than the Gun club.
A short steep up hill breaks it up a little. Steeper and rockier than most of the other trails on the reserve
Moon Rock
Although this track is not inside National Park, NPWS and Council have erected a sign saying they do not want riders on this track.
