Easy start to the Wingello ride.

More chosen lines

These steel frames have been concreted into the track so that Sydney's ever enlarging Cyclo-cross breed can attach the barriers of which they are so fond, part of their devious cross masterplan MWahahahaha...

Straight up mate

A prime example of what we were doing today, a waterbar which was developing lines to the left and right. The surplus eroded lines have been closed off and a few choice rocks added in the centre so the people don't go looking for that easy line.

Rocky Road

Again in the rocky section just as you turn parallel to Wakehurst Parkway. Just where the ranger is looking (to the right, with the rocks and the big log) used to be just sand and was getting wide, it's now covered and a drainage channel has been dug on the high side of the wooden plank across the trail.

Closed line

This is in the rocky section going down after the step-ups, as you turn parallel to Wakehurst Parkway. The eroding cheaters line to the right of the plant is now covered in bush matter. I had lots of fun sawing up the dead trees to make that, yes blisters can be fun!

Smoko

A proper worksite no less. Even down to the almost complete absence of workers, the lone sole here gave up the fags last week, the rest are having a smoko and discussing the merits of Ford versus Holden...

A lovely day for...

The group hard at, erm, contemplation...

Feel sorry for the guy on the left whose head was stolen by the trail fairies for disturbing a nest of sleeping elves. Not for the faint hearted ;-}.

Rock steps by the fence

That bit of the rock steps that always looked like it should be easy but you ended up in the fence... Well now for the sake of the beginner (which we all were at one stage) it should be easy(ish...) the fence should take less of a beating now and less risk of rider impalement!
