After a couple of months or so, of intense marathon racing, I was looking forward to the more social Chocolate Foot SingleTrackMind Series to come around.

How much exercise ?

Below is a preview, click to read the full post

This came across my information flow and it touches on some stuff me and my training buddies sometimes ask ourselves. Don't know if this is of general interest or not. If you don't think you are at risk of over exercise then there is no point reading this stuff.

Is what we do good for us? We've all been told exercise is good but is more better?

Bare Creek Bike Park

Below is a preview, click to read the full post

You may be aware of the proposal to build a multi-use MTB park at Belrose. With the landfill at the tip closing in November 2014 it is now time to gain momentum for this project. Bare Creek Bike Park would combine XC, DH, AM, Flow, Jump, Pump and CX as well as areas for skills and junior riders
Please see the attached proposal developed by Seuter Planners with the help of IMBA Australia; http://www.wamc.nsw.gov.au/__data/assets/pdf_fil...

Lane Cove National Park update for 21 May

Status:
Green/Open

Rode from Robin Av entrance up to Belinda Cr and then out via Canoon Rd climb. Pretty much in perfect nick this morning, there are now defined lines around a few of the muddy chopped up bits along Devlins Ck.

Watch out for the roped off mini landslide section past the triple fork - there is a newly built waterbar nearby in an attempt to improve water runoff, great for getting some airtime if thats your thing.

Come along and support the opening of stage 2. As a thank you to those companies that have paid to hold demo days in the past, Council have invited them to setup from 10AM onwards to show off their machines. There will be a BBQ that the club will cook up (starting midday) and the Coffee Nomad Dude will be there as well. It will be held at the bottom of the fire trail road, down near the green loop.

Withdrawn: 2009 Trek EX8 - Medium

Price:
800.00

Time to make some room in the garage and the N+1 has to go, this bike hasn't seen much action in the last 18 months and hasn't done a great amount of K's. It's medium size, 17.5"

The spec is the original http://www.trekbikes.com/au/en/bikes/2009/archiv...

It's a good bike and has the usual marks that you'd expect including a scuff mark on the rear triangle (see photo). Perfect for Manly Dam Eye-wink

If you want more information just ask. I'm asking a reasonable price but open to offers.
