Withdrawn: airline bike box
I have a Qantas bike box. It is cardboard and in good condition except for a little bit of the lid flap is missing but it will not effect the use of it. If you want it you will have to pick it up from Bayswater and you will need a wagon, ute or similar to transport it. PM me if you want it.

Have you ever noticed that since taking up riding, when you stub your toe, or bang your elbow... it really doesn't hurt as much as it used to? Are you so used to rocks smashing into your shins, skin being ripped off your arms and the burning in your legs that anything else seems passé?

Kiwarrak State Forest update for 05 Feb
After a few light showers overnight the trails are in great condition, very grippy with only two small puddles in gullies that I saw. Did the chocolate foot and some of the red and green loops.
First time riding there this morning and no wonder it made AMB's "places that rock". I think I've found my new favourite place to ride

Lane Cove National Park update for 04 Feb
Today's rain dampened the trails and settled the dust nicely, so the evening ride today was great. There was a tree down near Wallalong Crescent, but very easy to lift the bike over.

Correct grease for pivot bearings?
Anyone know if there is a specific grease I am supposed to use to clean and repack my maestro 4 suspension pivot/frame bearings?

Kowen Forest Parking
The 'official' parking area for Kowan is pretty much in the middle of the forest, on Kowan Road.
From Sutton Road, turn East and head up Kowan Road (firetrail) for around 5km.
That said - this is a large forest and there are plenty of other parking options available.
Parking and Access to East Kowen?
Hi, very confused. Where does one park and access East Kowen? I have ridden The Mont 2012 and 2013, so I do have a fair understanding of the available trails, but the information on access and parking outside of events is somehow eluding me.
Could somebody please (please) point me in the right direction?
