Mountain Bike Park Feasibility Survey
The purpose of this survey is to determine the sustainability of a not-for-profit, fully facilitated Mountain Bike Park operated in southern NSW.
The initial plan for the mountain bike park would consist of single track and cross country loops to maintained downhill runs and free ride terrain. Flowing machine made and technical runs, accommodating from beginner to expert abilities. An all day shuttle/lift service will be provided for riders back to the top of runs for continuous gravity fed riding.
The park would allow for weekend camp stay and provide shower and toilet amenities.
Appin update for 13 Mar
Went out and had a look yesterday evening (12th March). The track is still very wet and i would recommend that it is not ridden until it has dried out a fair bit more. There has been some significant damage donr by the water + MTB and also some pretty bad damage from MOTO's to some of the track to. The down hill section before the bridge crossing is in a pretty bad shape with the rain. Probably best leaving the track for a week of dry weather before being ridden (who knows when we will get that).

Andersons + Oaks
The meeting times are 'ready to ride'. If you need time to prepare equipment then please arrive a few minutes earlier.
Either Glenbrook or Wentworth Falls
Am on annual leave and going to tackle Andersons + Oaks (1 way).
Will park at Glenbrook and catch the train up to Wentworth Falls.
Looking to start reasonably early in the morning, but am flexible on the time if anyone would like to come along.
Could certainly use someone who has done it before as it is my first Andersons run.

Just spent a couple of days rideing kiwarrak & had a ball ,nice & smooth with not many climbs ,the downhill run with jumps a dropoff & the big berm were probly the highlight ,the bridges & seasaw over the creek were cool too .I was wondering how the trails handle with the multy direction single trail & if there have been many collisions ,also what has happened to the trail signage ? arrows & crosses constantly contradict each other & quiet a few arrows seem t b missing which made it real easy t get lost .Dispite this we had a great time & would like to thank the trail builders for their work.

Rode it last week (regretting it now) there were rivers crossing the path everywhere. one or two trees down too. going to take a week (at least) of good weather to dry out

Salvation Tracks update for 11 Mar
Salvation (loop only).
Rideable after last couple of dry days, but many wet sections.
Conclusion - Trail damp with wet sections but ok to ride at moment, further rain may quickly change this status.
