Manly Dam update for 25 Feb
The track is drying out in many areas but the streams and puddles of last week have become mud holes.
Curl Curl creek is still flowing and there are areas of seepage still active after Manly Vale School, before and above the Golf Course, and in the usual places on the Allambie side. The big mud hole in the little swamp section after Cootamundra and before Monserra is now a full scale quagmire. No way around it and and getting difficult to ride through.
Those dry sections with any gradient are eroded by the water running off, which means the track is rough and with a lot of loose rocks.
And WTF some doofus has added a ramp to make the big rock in the middle of the sandy single track before the Golf Course easy to get over - I guess the next stage will be to remove the big rock and then pave the whole track.
Please stop dumbing down the track! If you can't ride it learn how. If you don't want to learn how go play on the roads.

Terrey Hills update for 24 Feb
Report for Long and Perimeter via Euchuga as at 5pm Friday 24th. Had a nice ride on Centre track and Duck Holes during the week and thought Perim would be ok. YIKES. It was horrible and wet and muddy. You couldn't get a rhythm going as you had to pick your way thru bogs and puddles and it was gluggy and slow. Long was better but still crap.
Only if you are desperate otherwise Centre and Duck is the pick

Half overnight
First time up and down. Started at 5pm and fininshed in the dark. Awesome ride and finally the up way is not that hard.
Will do it again and beat that time.

Still a bit of water lying around. All in all in pretty good condition, considering the rain on Sunday night.

Duck Hole/Terrey Hills Trail update for 23 Feb
Still holding water in the usual places. The start is quite rocky and eroded now. Generally not to bad. Saw a nice Python catchings some rays down near the McCarrs creek Road gate.

where the trails at ?
i just moved back to aus and love my DH riding
im interested in where all the trails have gone?
i live south sydney and noticed lucus heights have just been left for dead and helensburgh /engadine theres not much going on where i used to ride
can anyone point me in the right direction?
i went for a ride at oxford falls recently and was wondering if there is any trails like that on the south side
