Another short-ish track in Ku-ring-gai to link up with others.

Meeting Point:

We don't normally ride this on it's own.

Full Description:

Firetrail of the cruisy kind, with just a smattering of rocks (flat stuff and just a couple of tiny climbs if I recall).

The summary pretty much eludes to the fact this short ride isn't really worth getting out there for on it's own. Unless the 6.6Km return is your thing? If not, it can be linked with others in the area. The North End is almost exactly 2km from the North end of Duck Hole for example. At the other end, the distance is more like 1Km (and another 1600m get's you to the end of the Perimeter Trail.

Facilities/Points of Interest
National Parks information

There's a National Parks information board near the corner of Liberator General San Martin Drive and McCarrs Creek Road.

Centre Track lookout

Not far from the North end of Centre Track, the trail heads sharp left and downhill (when riding North to South). Just off the trail here there's a rocky area with a really nice view to be had.

Liberator General San Martin Drive parking

Right by the corner with McCarrs Creek Road there is a small parking area, opposite the Centre Track trail head.

Duck Hole + Centre Track
Duck Hole + Centre Track (13.99Km)

If we describe this as an 'easy loop' that is a bit deceptive as there are a couple of nasty climbs, but also some fun water bar filled down hills. Nothing too technical though, this is a pure XC loop.

Duck Hole + Chiltern + Centre
Duck Hole + Chiltern + Centre (21.60Km)

Similar to the Duck Hole + Centre loop plus Chiltern track added for some tougher climbing.

Duck Hole + Waratah + Centre
Duck Hole + Waratah + Centre (27.87Km)

Similar to the Duck Hole + Centre track loop but with some climbing road work up to Waratah out and back.
