Full Description:

The Goldfields Track is a point-to-point 210km Track that takes mountain bikers and bushwalkers through some of central Victoria's most historic towns and beautiful forests. This is a 3-4 day, challenging ride. There are three distinct named tracks as part of the ride... Wallaby Track, Dry Diggings Track and Leanganook Track.

There is a wide variety of riding, with many parts of the ride single track (some step, rocky and technical) and rough fire-trails. Around 20% (only) is country dirt road or bitumen, with the remainder being excellent mountain biking trails.

Originally known as the Great Dividing Trail, this is some of the most beautiful mountain biking and hiking in Victoria. A region steeped in history, you'll encounter forests, both natural and man-made, pastoral countryside, 19th century gold mining relics and single track that in some places flow on grippy loam and in others jump and jag across roots, rock ledges and coarse sandstone. For an experience you will never forget, come and visit the Goldfields Track.
