Barrington Trail

Massive national park a good 5 hours drive North of Sydney. Large plateau peaking over 1500m altitude (high enough for snow in winter) and dropping away sharply in all directions is criss-crossed with fire trail through beautiful native forest.

Bermagui Dirtsurfers MTB Park

About 5 hours south of Sydney is a great example of how MTB and State Forests have combined to offer 7kms of sweet, well built singletrack.

Purpose-built singletrack on a stunning property overlooking Byron Bay's hinterland. Mostly for intermediate/advanced mountain bikers but with a new beginner trail. There is now over 6km of track that flows through open paddock, forest gullies & timber plantation. Pump track & skills courses at the trail head too.

Snake Track 2

Miles and miles of the sweetest single track you'll find. When climbing the often brutal hills remember what comes up must come down - and when it comes down on flowing sniggle what's not to love?!

Chasm!

As you can see, the only thing bridging this rather deep chasm is a rock bridge. It looks unsuspecting enough on approach (see here) but as you can see from this angle, one false move on it's crossing would not be very pretty!

Miles and miles of firetrail with spectacular views all around. Is this a cross country rider's dream?

Nowra/Currambene State Forest

This entry is mainly here for reference to some events that are held in the forest.

Home of the Wagga 6hr (12.5km loop). A nice trail network with some bridges and berms and more trails planned. There are loops for all abilities, fire roads and some great bushland.

Willans Hill

A large large ridge running through Wagga with a mix of fire trail and single track.

The difficulty varies depending on trails taken.

The are a wide variety of track available so the ride length varies depending on trails taken.
