The gate way to a massive area full of riding opportunities in both Pine and native forests
The Bungleboori picnic area is a good base to explore from this is found along the Glowworm Tunnel Rd about 10km north of Lithgow.
The area acesses Newnes State Forest, Blue Mt NP, Wollemi NP and Gardens of Stone Np.
Newnes state forest, especially the area near the rest area tends to fill up with moto riders on weekends but if you head further a field there is enough to keep you amused for days

The ride out is a little droll but if you look about you might find something fun to ride. The View over the upper Wolgan is pretty special |
