Royal National Park

There are many, many trails in the Royal National Park, string together a few to make your ride as long short as you like.
Usually Loftus Oval, Sutherland, just off the Princes Highway.
Overview says it all really, there are so many options down here to choose from.
There'll be more coming when I can figure out how to describe all this!

Train Station
While there are four stations along the border of the Royal National Park, Heathcote is probably the easiest for access, being 1.2km from the Bottle Forest trail head. Exit the station on to Wilson Parade (the side away from the Highway), head North (train line on the left) then turn fourth right down Bottle Forest Road. Trail head is directly at the end of this road. |
Lady Carrington Drive
(20.59Km)
Pretty much as easy a mountain bike ride as you will find in Sydney, this out and back is perfect for beginners. |
Royal National Park Cruise
(25.60Km)
Nice cruise on healthy mix of firetrail and single track, not straying too far from Loftus Oval start. |
Big Royal National Park Loop
(52.97Km)
Large loop from Loftus Oval down to Lady Carrington Drive, up the road - maybe a little too much road for some - then back into the Park to finish with some nice single track and firetrail. |
