The area runs from Hillsborough Rd behind Charlestown Golf Course, to the main bypass and up to Bayview St. It offers a central spine fire trail with single and double track running off each side.

The area is widely used by motor bikes and some trails have wash aways while others are in good order. The Great North Walk runs through this area and that trail is fairly well maintained and serviced, there is some very good single track hiding in among the trees if you look for it.
