Anybody keen to ride the oaks today, time is flexible and dependant on who is keen. I have never been here before so some knowledge would be great, ride will be at a social pace to enjoy scenery and not a race, get keen people
Choosing correct frame size
Hey everyone, I'm looking at getting a mountain bike. I don't know much at all about them. I'm most likely going to buy a second hand one with front suspension to begin with. I just want to know how I decide on the correct frame size? I'm 183cm tall, but I don't have long legs as I'm taller in my upper body. If theres any advice you can give me in purchasing a second hand bike that would be appreciated too.

We did the Oaks today and it was in perfect condition. The rain in Sydney this week hasn't had much effect up there. Nice and dry.
The Oaks update for 22 May
Trail in great condition today Sat 22 May c/w coastal that are wet from rain this week. Only problem was I broke my collarbone near the end of the ride on the asphalt just before the ford!

Ourimbah after rain?
Just wanted to check condition of Ourimbah after the rain this week. Will it be suitable to ride on Sunday if major rain stays away??

Check this out... gimmick or of some real use?
FWIW, I also saw a clip about Kinetic resistance units. They claim to be the only ones in the business using magnetically coupled drive, which means there are no seals to leak fluid out of. They also claim to be unique in using silicone based fluid that doesn't change viscosity with heat. Sounds good, but doesn't most marketing speak?
How is the dam looking for a Saturday morning ride? - ignore that... it is POURING!!!
Do any of the local know how wet it is.... was keen to head out for a lap or two on Saturday if it is reasonably dry.
