CamelBak - WSMTB 4 hour Summer Series 2012-13 - Round 1
The meeting times are 'ready to ride'. If you need time to prepare equipment then please arrive a few minutes earlier.
There's a car park (click for foggy picture) on Springwood Road - just down the way from Hawkesbury Heights if you're looking for a suburb name.

Our WSMTB 4 hour XC Summer Series 2012-13 is sponsored by CamelBak from JetBlack Cycling, and will start with a twilight race (6pm – 10pm) on Saturday 17 Nov 2012 at Yellomundee. Panthers Cycles are sponsoring this Round 1. Online rego opens at midday on Saturday 3 Nov:

Ripped some trails today and all good.Dry,hot and dusty.Love it.Take plenty of water.
No sign of Godzilla.

Awaba State Forest update for 14 Oct
Dry and dusty. Great conditions. Access road to carpark has some potholes and may worry vehicles with very low clearance.

Keen to race
Hi All,
New to Sydney, have done lot's of MTB riding a in VIC and loving the local trails. Keen to get involved in some XC racing, any advice on events to start with that may be coming up? Nothing to epic to start with please!

bike rack mounted on tow ball

Looking for bike rack for 4 bikes to mount on tow ball.
If you can recommend any I would appreciate it.
Family guy - so will have kids bikes as well
Easy and quick install/removal would be good.
cost hope to get at <$200
looking at
- Thule 9708 - straps used to secure bikes
- Pacific A frame - velcro straps used to secure bikes
- Another A frame FX4T - screw down bike clamp - sold through Repco
Ideally liek to try a few but this is the next best option.

WSMTB are hosting Round 3 on Sunday 21 October at Yellomundee Regional Park.
9.00am: Elite, Expert & U19 Male
11.30am: All Female races, plus U13, U15, U17 Male
1.30pm: Male Sport, Vets, Masters etc

mtb guide for nowra area
Looking for mountain bike trails information and or a guide for rides in and around the Nowra Kangaroo valley area. I've checked out SCUM website but i'm after more. I have to visit the relatives in November so why not take the bike.
Is it best that i hire a bike but bring a couple of things, seat , pedals, spares etc. or just stuff it and bring the bloody lot.
My first preference is to be escorted around by a local, I lived in Nowra some 20 years ago and would really like to get off the roads and explore the tracks.
I'm more about exploring xc trails not doing lap after lap stuff.
