More Wollongong downhill riding - Sat 20th?
Greetings!!
Was anyone interested in riding some more downhill stuff at Wollongong this Saturady 20th? If so, we will need to figure out the shuttling logistics, as it is not a good place to walk back. Let me know.
BINNED - WILL RIDE RED HILL INSTEAD NOW
Suggested downhill explore ride?
With the racing for my year now finished until the Mont early next year, I am free to get back to some more fun riding.
As promised to some off site, I am keen to drive down to the Wollongong area and check out the technical and downhill trails there. I have a rough idea of places I want to go to, so thank goodness for Google Maps and YouTube. But of course, I am keen for the help of a tour barbie that may know the best places.
Does anyone want to come along? What is your day preference?

Wild fling in the Himalayas [Nepal]
Quick update from a recent fling with the Himalayas (Nepal).
During a recent work-trip to Nepal, I was able to escape from the hustle of Kathmandu to do a short 2 days stint of serious mountain biking in the foothills of the Himalayas.
We met Tangi, a french pro-MTB rider (and local resident for the last 5 years in Pokhara) and he took us to his favourite trails for the next 2 days. He used to be a competition rider for COMMENCAL (a well-regarded MTB brand in Europe) and is sponsored by the company to teach 15 local Nepali kids to become pro-riders.
Kincumber training ride
Hi all,
I was wondering about getting into some more training rides. We have only a couple of months to get into shape for Dirtworks. What better way than a fun explore around Kincumber? Plenty of hills there. Fun uphills. And mega-fun downhills.
How does next weekend, Saturday 23rd or Sunday 24th sound?
There were a few side tracks that led off to who knows where which I wanted to have a look at. E.g. here: http://nobmob.com/node/2423 and here: http://nobmob.com/node/2422
