Winmalee update for 31 Dec

Area:
Winmalee
Status:
Green/Open

There is a tree down on the fire trail heading out to Grose Head. You can just get under it or try to walk around it. There are sandy patches along the trails, however if you hit them at speed you can get through them pretty easily.

The Oaks update for 16 Dec

NB: Originally posted elsewhere on the Global Riders Network and appears via syndication.
Area:
The Oaks
Status:
Amber/Some Issues

Firetrail from the Tarmac in Glenbrook to the Middle gate has been graded and currently a massive sand pit. This can be avoided if travelling from woodford and then riding the single track from the middle gate back to Glenbrook.

Also worth noting the park will be closed this week.

Attention - Glenbrook closure
Glenbrook precinct of Blue Mountains National Park will be closed on Wednesday 18th, Thursday 19th and Friday 20th December to allow for major road surfacing to be completed at Glenbrook park entrance, on roads, car parks, and at Euroka. For visitor safety there will be no access to the park during these times. Bike riders will not be able to exit via Glenbrook.
These works are part of our ongoing upgrade works to improve visitor facilities in the Glenbrook Precinct.
