Boring training alone
Hi everyone, i'm fairly new to MTB but come from a triathlon and road racing background.
I guess i'm looking for people to train with occassionly as i work shifts and i'm on a difficult shift pattern. I ride between 80-220kms a week mostly road and always on my MTB, i've decided i would be tackling port to port in 2016 and now i'm doing some more dirt and trying to get some technical skill in the bush, i live in Lake Macquarie and keen to ride so PM me if your looking to go for a ride and you don't mind someone new tagging along.

Green. I rode most trails bar the Shaft etc. But everything was great. A bit of hero dirt around, and only just a little slimey on that new off-camber bit near the chute.

Damp in the odd spot but good to go,not a bad alternative to the coastal areas with the recent crap weather.

Trails were holding up pretty well this morning, but I expect they'll be very wet and/or boggy by now and even worse by Sunday morning.

Went for a ride this arvo, with the warm westerly I didn't think it would be too wet and it wasn't.
Twisties and Dip had a few puddles so did the bottom of BJ's otherwise all good.
Nice track work carried out near the chute too. Unfortunately the trail build day planets haven't been in alignment for me, hopefully next time

Awaba State Forest update for 05 Sep
Still working on the lower section of the down hill. XC loops are good - very good. A couple of small (very small- tiney wintsy little ones really) puddles. (Might have trouble finding them tomorrow.)
