Wylde Ride

NB: Originally posted elsewhere on the Global Riders Network and appears via syndication.

The artwork is called ‘Wylde Ride’ and was created by Milne & Stonehouse

The artwork deconstructs cogs and bike elements and acts as a wind vane in celebration of the mountain bike track. It accompanies the refined mechanics, gearing and bicycle design with the sensation of wind and flying through the air.

Withdrawn: Racing Ralph 29er tyres for Sale

Note that this is "Withdrawn" so is here for archive purposes only.

Price:
30.00

I am selling the Racing Ralph tyres that came with my 29er that I bought. Nothing is wrong with them, I just prefer a more aggressive tyre to do all mountain riding.

The tyres have been used several times but are in EXCELLENT condition. They are the EVO tubeless ready variety, 2.25mm profile, and made of compound 3. They are a good tyre and sell on the online sites new from $60-$80 per tyre. I will sell them together for a total of $60.

Please contact me on this website or call Lisa on 0414 517 756. Thanks.

Which gloves for XC?

NB: Originally posted elsewhere on the Global Riders Network and appears via syndication.
Below is a preview, click to read the full post

I went in store and tried on some gloves and found that XL best fitted me. L was unable to get on without a fight and XL was loose and had extra finger length. I ordered a pair of XL Fox Incline (full finger) and a pair of XL Fox Tahoe (Fingerless) from The Bike Shed. After recieving them I found them a little tight to get on but I have full movement once on. Once out riding I start to loose feeling in my thumb, pointer and middle finger and start to also get pins and needles.

Flat Top and the open road....

NB: Originally posted elsewhere on the Global Riders Network and appears via syndication.

Flat top is at around the halfway point where the bush opens up and the ride gets more enjoyable and scenic.

You can only get so close but you want to get closer and touch it as the view is amazing. Unfortunately NO BIKES past the end of Mt Hay Rd. If you want to get closer, bring a chain and lock plus some walking shoes.

Overall A decent ride with not to many steep hills. Trail was relatively smooth and the views are amazing.
